Bike Type
The first step in the bike fitting process, regardless of the mode you select (Sell a Bike, Adjust a Bike, or Pro Fitting), is to select the type of bike the client will use for the session. Available options include:
Type
- Road
- Triathlon / Time Trial
- Mountain
- Recreational / Hybrid
- Cyclocross / Gravel
Riding position
Once the bike type is selected, you can choose one of the three riding positions:
- Pro: This position is intended for elite or professional riders who aim to maximize performance and aerodynamics, often sacrificing a bit of comfort for speed and efficiency.
- Standard: This position is the most common choice for the majority of riders, offering a balanced compromise between performance and comfort. It provides a good blend of speed, control, and riding comfort.
- Comfort: This position prioritizes comfort, making it ideal for recreational riders or those seeking a more relaxed riding experience. It emphasizes an upright posture to reduce strain on the back and neck.
These options define the intended riding posture and influence the position adjustments recommended during the fitting session. By selecting the appropriate bike type and riding position, you can ensure that the fit is tailored to the client's riding style, goals, and comfort preferences.
