How to use Pro Fitting mode

Overview

The Pro Fitting mode is designed for high-precision bike fitting sessions aimed at optimizing performance and comfort for advanced cyclists and competitive athletes. This mode leverages advanced analysis and motion capture tools to provide real-time feedback, allowing for precise adjustments to the bike's position and geometry.

With Pro Fitting, you can achieve an elite level of precision by utilizing motion analysis and detailed position tracking. This workflow is tailored to suit the unique needs of professional cyclists and high-performance riders.

Saddle Adjustment

After selecting the bike type and riding position, you’ll be guided to the Saddle Adjustment page.

Accurate saddle measurements are critical for achieving the most precise fit possible. The system’s algorithms rely on this data to ensure optimal results for the rider’s comfort and performance.

Motion Analysis View

The Motion Analysis View is where real-time position tracking takes place. This step involves continuous pedaling by the cyclist while the system captures and analyzes their movement.

How it works:

  • The cyclist begins pedaling, and after 3 seconds of continuous movement, the analysis automatically starts.
  • The system displays real-time angle measurements on the lower-left side of the screen.
  • Adjustment recommendations are shown on the right side of the screen using visual cues and icons.

This process allows you to monitor key body angles and assess adjustments that may be required to optimize the fit. Real-time data helps you make immediate changes and observe their impact on the cyclist’s position.

Save Position

Once an optimal position is achieved, you can capture and save.

Why save the position?

  • It allows you to document the client’s initial position as well as any changes made during the session.
  • You can compare before-and-after images and reference these details when generating a report.

Each saved position includes:

  • Position Image: A snapshot of the rider’s position at the moment of capture.
  • Position Data: Key metrics such as body angles, saddle height, and reach adjustments.

Review Saved Positions

You can review all saved positions during the session.

This feature provides a clear history of changes made during the session, allowing you to track the client’s progress and ensure precision at every stage.

Final Steps

Once all adjustments are complete, you can finalize the session. The Pro Fitting mode offers two ways to complete the fitting session:

Option 1: Enter Bike Measurement

  • Input key measurements including SX, SY, HX, HY, and crank length.
  • Save the inputted data to generate a list of recommended bikes that match the client’s morphology and fit.

Option 2: Report with Position Only

  • If no bike measurement inputs are required, you can skip directly to the report.
  • This option focuses on documenting the client’s position and the adjustments made during the fitting session.

Generate Report

Both workflow options lead to the final Report Page, where you can review and generate a session report.

The report can be exported as a PDF to provide the client with a professional summary of their Pro Fitting session. This document serves as a valuable reference for both the client and the fitter.

Summary

The Pro Fitting mode provides professional-level precision and customization for cyclists who require an elite level of fit accuracy. With features like real-time motion analysis, position tracking, and bike measurement entry, this mode ensures that cyclists achieve optimal comfort and performance.

Key Features Recap:

  • Motion Analysis View: Real-time body angle tracking and adjustment recommendations.
  • Save Position: Capture and document every position adjustment during the session.
  • Report Generation: Create and export a comprehensive PDF report detailing the session’s key adjustments, saved positions, and recommended bikes.

Whether you’re working with a professional athlete or a high-performance cyclist, Pro Fitting gives you the tools to achieve a level of precision that meets the demands of competitive riding.
